Bhr -

Black Hole Research is a focused effort to find and research black holes in our universe. Sponsored by several grants and private funding Bhr is adding to the understanding of stellar singularities. Established in 1998 by Franz Hiedrick, Bhr has grown into a substantial contributer to astronomy, physics and spectronmetery.

Currently Bhr is centering on the galactic center (GC) of the MIlkyway Galaxy. The central region of our Milky Way, or the GC, is an extremely interesting and fascinating field of research. Within few light years we find here ten thousands of stars forming a dense cluster, and the geometric centre of our Galaxy harbours a supermassive black hole with around 3.6 million solar masses. Due to its relative proximity of around 8 kiloparsecs, the Galactic Centre is a perfect laboratory to examine the physical processes in a galactic nucleus.
